Trasfigurazioni

Transfigurations

The sea is the vastest mirror in which humanity is reflected: a deep, ever-changing space where reality is transformed, giving rise to constant transfigurations.
“Transfigurations” is a photographic project born from the observation of water as a living, dynamic surface. The images, captured in harbors, depict moored boats through their reflections, creating visual compositions that evoke abstract painting. In a fleeting instant, matter dissolves and reassembles itself, generating forms and colors reminiscent of Informal Art.
In these spaces suspended between reality and perception, light becomes a transformative element, capable of transfiguring emotions, impressions, and expectations. It is precisely in this constant flux that the gaze takes shape, drawn to the unpredictable dialogue between water, light, and color.
